On July 5th 2008 Me and My Boyfriend Mike attended a game @ Yankee Stadium against the AL East Rivals the Boston Red Sox and it fun. My favorite Moment in the game is when Brett Gardner throw out Dustin Pedroia in first inning and Mike Mussina Strikeout Manny Ramirez in the 5th. I was glad that the Yankees Won the game with the score of 2-1.

On Saturday July 12th, The New York Yankees has lost of the most best Former Yankee Player and Broadcaster Bobby Murcer. Next year, The New York Yankees are going to open the new Hard Rock Cafe and New restaurant called NYY Steak. these restaurants are going to located on the right field. I'm very excited because when the New Stadium opened it would be the second ball park to have a hard rock cafe. The Other hard rock cafe is at the Skydome in Toronto where the Toronto Blue Jays plays. I can't wait to go the new Stadium next baseball season.

Even Although David Ortiz is in the lead with the Most votes and just been put on the DL, but I'm not so sure How long Ortiz be on the DL and be ready for the All Star Game. Right Now, Matsui is the best hitter in the American League with a batting average of .330. Right now Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez are more likely going to be in the All Star Game. It would be nice to add another Yankees bat in the American League line up in July for a summer classic in the Bronx. I want him to be in the Bullpen this year, because I'm afraid if he comes a starter this season it will effect the bullpen and the starting rotation. To be honest, I want Jonathan Albaladejo to be the starter for the Yankees this season if either [Phil]Hughes,[Ian]Kennedy or [Mike]Mussina Continues to struggle and not pitching constantly. The Problem with Joba being the Starting Rotation is that you have no one to be an eighth inning setup man to Mariano Rivera. There is a possibly that Chamberlain could pitch inconstantly as a starter.

Having Joba in the bullpen this season is better than having Joba in the Rotation sometime this year. because what happens if he struggles in the rotation or he goes on the DL with an injury while pitching as a starter, that would huge mistake on the teams decision. If I were the Yankees, I would have Joba pitch in the rotation sometime next year, because it gives Joba an opportunity to pitch at least 30 games. If he doesn't do well as a starter, I'm hoping that Chamberlain will continue to be a 8th inning pitcher and eventually becomes the new closer for the Yankees after Rivera retires from baseball.
