How Amazing is Brett Gardner is for the Yankees

Q:Have you ever seen in Outfielder that can throw out runners and can run fast enough to get a insider the park Home-run?

A: I did when I was watching the Yankees recently. New York Yankees Outfielder Brett Gardner who was bought up last summer from the minors. Gardner had thrown out runners like Dustin Pedroia last summer in game 3 of a four game set at the Old Yankee Stadium. But the most famous hits that he was known for was the 10th inning walk off  2 single on July 6th 2008 off of Red Sox Closer Jonathan Papelbon. In three Recent game Brett Gardner make great impression to the fans and teammates. In Game 2 of a three game set against Toronto Blue Jays Gardner hit his first career home-run in the second inning as the Blue Jays Starting Pitcher Scott Richmond and the third game he help out Yankees Pitcher CC Sabathia by Throwing out Blue Jays Rod Barajas at home plate in the 5th inning. I alway thought that that either Gardner and Red Sox Jacoby Ellsbury would least get a inside the park home-run  since both players have the speed to do it. Tonight I witness in the bottom of the 7th inning w/ 2-outs Brett Gardner up to plate against Twins pitcher Jesse Crain and with a 0-2 count Gardner hit a line drive to left and run so fast around the base and suddenly made to home plate with a inside the park home-run. Wow is that Amazing by Brett Gardner or what?

Here is my question for the Fans:

Do u believe that Brett Gardner can able to hit another inside the park again in his Career?

1) yes

2) no

3) Maybe

The Confession of a Baseball Player (The A-Rod Admission)

In the past two days there was a story about Alex Rodriguez taking Steroids back when he was playing with Texas. Some of us, may not know the whole story about a Major League Player, until we get the really facts from the players themselves. Some people may think that A-Rod is a lair and cheater. You can tell that a Player is a lair or a cheater if they never admitted to their mistakes. Alex knew something that some of us may or may not know about him. Back in the Days that he was playing for the Texas Rangers he used to do illegal substance. His darkest Secret has finally released today in a Interview with Peter Gammons of ESPN.

A-Rod confessed that what he did back then was wrong and stupid. Back at the time between the late 1980's and 2003, it was a different culture and most of us didn't know about until late 2003 when Jason Giambi testify to the Grand Jury and admitted that he also taken steroids. Between the year when playing for the Texas Rangers, Rodriguez did it out of being greed, selfish and the amount of the pressure that he has on himself back then. He knew what he did was wrong and Stupid and he did apologized and tell the Viewers that he was young, stupid and naive for something that he really regret.

Do I believe that A-Rod is one of the Greatest players all time even though that he used to do banned Substances? Yes I do believe he is no matter what did in the past he is still one of the greatest players of the game. Anybody who have done these things before know it better to confess about the past and seek hope for a better future. I believe that A-Rod did the right thing by admitting his mistake and take it like honest person. Look back at Last year when Andy Pettitte admitted that he used HGH back in 2002. He also knew that what he did was wrong and he also regrets of doing it.

Unlike A-Rod,Giambi and Pettitte there are at least three former players that will not admitted their own mistake and keep on denied. Barry Bonds and Roger Clemen have really ruined their Legacy and pretty much have to face prison. As for Mark McGwire he can say goodbye his chances of getting into the Hall of Fame after telling the the Grand Jury in 2005 that "I'm not here to talk about the past."

For next nine years in A-Rod 's Yankee Career, are going be better and I hope a lot of people will understand that Alex is a kind of player that understand if he didn't admitted his mistake his legacy is going to be tarnish forever. Can Alex Rodriguez restore everything back to place in baseball history and restore his legacy as one of the greatest player of all time? All I have to say, We shall see what happens next only time will tell. For now, lets get ready for the 2009 Season.

Baseball Insider

From the past couple of weeks was fun and sad at the same time. On July 5th 2008 Me and My Boyfriend Mike attended a game @ Yankee Stadium against the AL East Rivals the Boston Red Sox and it fun. My favorite Moment in the game is when Brett Gardner throw out Dustin Pedroia in first inning and Mike Mussina Strikeout Manny Ramirez in the 5th. I was glad that the Yankees Won the game with the score of 2-1.

On Saturday July 12th, The New York Yankees has lost of the most best Former Yankee Player and Broadcaster Bobby Murcer. Murcur died from a battle with Brain Cancer. Bobby

Yankees are going Hard Rock @ the new Stadium

Next year, The New York Yankees are going to open the new Hard Rock Cafe and New restaurant called NYY Steak. these restaurants are going to located on the right field. I'm very excited because when the New Stadium opened it would be the second ball park to have a hard rock cafe. The Other hard rock cafe is at the Skydome in Toronto where the Toronto Blue Jays plays. I can't wait to go the new Stadium next baseball season.

Vote for Hideki Matsui for All Star DH and Continue to Vote for the Yankees

Attention Yankee Fans,

Please give Hideki Matsui enough votes to put him in the starting line up for the American League in the 2008 All Star game as a DH. Even Although David Ortiz is in the lead with the Most votes and just been put on the DL, but I'm not so sure How long Ortiz be on the DL and be ready for the All Star Game. Right Now, Matsui is the best hitter in the American League with a batting  average of .330. Right now Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez are more likely going to be in the All Star Game. It would be nice to add another Yankees bat in the American League line up in July for a summer classic in the Bronx. Please Continues voting for the Yankees to participate a Final All Star game at the Stadium this July before the Team moves across street for the 2009 season.

Thank You for your Support, I'll See you next time

WAY AGO WANG (as the Yankees snap their 3 game losing streak against the Indians)

This Afternoon game against the Indians was a pitching dual from the 2007 AL Division series with CC Sabathia (the 2007 AL CY Young Award winner) against Chein Min Wang(whose going for his fifth win of the season).

Both pitchers were dual through four innings until the top of the fifth inning where Sabathia have gave up a solo home-run to Melky Cabrera(which was the only run in the game) with no one on, because Cano was caught stealing while Cabrera was up to bat and one out. The rest of the time, Wang only gave up 4 hits and 2 base on ball while striking out 9 batter over 7 innings. While CC Sabathia only gave up one homerun and strikeout 8 batters. The last two inning of the games both Joba Chamberlain and Mariano Rivera each strikeout two batters each as the Yankees go on win the game of the score of 1-0 and they improve their record to 13-13 even .500.

New York Yankees:

Chein Min Wang (W,5-0**)   7.0  4  0   0   2    9     0  3.23

Joba Chamberlain               1.0  0  0   0   0    2     0  1.74

Mariano Rivera(S,7*)           1.0  0  0    0   0   2     0   0.00

Cleveland Indians

CC Sabathia (L,1-4)             8.0   4  1   1    1    8     1   7.86

Masahide Kobayashi           1.0   0  0   0    0    0     0   1.59

*- Rivera got his 450 save of his career

**-Wang went 5-0 in the month of April

What is the Best Pitching Role for Joba Chamberlain?

What Pitching role do you think that Joba should be in Bullpen or Starting Rotation?

I would like Joba Chamberlain to be Starter for the Yankees, but I rather see Chamberlain to a Starter sometime next season than sometime this season. I want him to be in the Bullpen this year, because I'm afraid if he comes a starter this season it will effect the bullpen and the starting rotation. To be honest, I want Jonathan Albaladejo to be the starter for the Yankees this season if either [Phil]Hughes,[Ian]Kennedy or [Mike]Mussina Continues to struggle and not pitching constantly. The Problem with Joba being the Starting Rotation is that you have no one to be an eighth inning setup man to Mariano Rivera. There is a possibly that Chamberlain could pitch inconstantly as a starter.

Having Joba in the bullpen this season is better than having Joba in the Rotation sometime this year. because what happens if he struggles in the rotation or he goes on the DL with an injury while pitching as a starter, that would huge mistake on the teams decision. If I were the Yankees, I would have Joba pitch in the rotation sometime next year, because it gives Joba an opportunity to pitch at least 30 games. If he doesn't do well as a starter, I'm hoping that Chamberlain will continue to be a 8th inning pitcher and eventually becomes the new closer for the Yankees after Rivera retires from baseball.

Wang's Complete Game

Tonight Yankee Pitcher Chein Min Wang has gone 3-0 on the season and the first complete Game of the Season.  The only run that Wang gave up was a Solo home run by JD Drew overall hit only gave up just two hits and 3 strikeout against both Manny and Ortiz.

The Yankees were playing a little small ball by bunting and moving the runners over the next base. They end up winning game with base hits and solo home-run by Jason Giambi. This game  was very close but in the end the Boston Red Sox got their butts kick by the Yankees. I hoping Tomorrow that the Yankees will win their Second game against Red Sox with Mussina and Beckett on the Mound.

Here is the Final Score of Tonight Game:
               R-H-E
Yankees: 4-10-1
Red Sox: 1-2-0

Yankees Pitchers
Wang:(W,3-0) 9IP 2H 1R 1ER 0BB 3K 1HR 1.23 ERA

The bats start to heat up with 3HRs

From the past two games against the Kansas City Royal, The Yankees offends were Ice as Cold which means they could not get anything from their bats. The Final Game against the Royals at Kaufman Stadium the Yankees bat are starting to get warm up with Home-runs from Melky Cabrera, A-ROD, and Jorge Posada. Thank God, Andy Pettitte help out the team by only give up one run while make amazing plays including a pick off move to first which is his best pick off move in his career and the catch he caught over his head was amazing. The Final Score was Yankees-6 Royals-1. This weekend will be exciting especially when the Yankees go to Boston and play 3 games against them and I'm hoping the Yankees will able to win the series against the Boston Red Sox.

Here is the Pitching match up this Weekend:

Friday:
Chein Min Wang (2-0, 1.38) vs Clay Buchholz (0-1, 5.40)
Saturday:
Mike Mussina (1-1, 3.09) vs Josh Beckett (0-1,9.64)
Sunday:
Phil Hughes (0-1,5.00) vs Daisuke Matsuzaka (2-0,1.47)
